Week 22 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Humility

What are your personal opinions of the personality trait of humility?

Does it invoke a negative reaction as one of weakness or do you view
it as a positive?

I believe humility is the cornerstone of a personality of success.  Why do
I say that?

The most successful and well-rounded individuals that I know personally have
no problem admitting their own defeat.  In fact they are able to revel in
their failures as those that taught them the most about themselves
and their business. (more…)

Week 21 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Welcome Help From Others

Have you ever found yourself in a cloud of doubt, confusion and fear?  It’s as
if you’ve lost all direction even though you know exactly what you want or
need to do next in your pursuit for success.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how clear we become, how focused we have trained
ourselves to be we have moments of debilitating fear and doubt and we become
clouded.  Sometimes these moments will only last for a short time and sometimes
they will continue on and on.

Week 20 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Let Others Help You Achieve Success

Napoleon Hill states, “Success will come more quickly and surely if you
learn how to make use of the education, experience, ability and influence of others.”

I don’t know about you but this is a refreshing concept and quite frankly a
relief!  How often do we as entrepreneurs try to go it alone?  Many entrepreneurs
are Type A personalities.  Driven and determined yet also often times convinced
they know the best way to get something accomplished.

Remember that two or more people working together to support and compliment
one another is far more powerful (and fun!) than trying to push through alone.

Week 19 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Live Harmoniously with Others

One of the greatest cause of failures in the attainment for success is the

inability to get along with other people.  It’s an imperative trait for you to

have to live the life you desire.

We don’t live on some island where only our own actions, feelings or

desires matter.  We live in a big beautiful society and we have the benefit

of many people around us with great ideas and gifts that can assist us

in our quest for success.  To access those ideas and gifts though you must

give more than you get and get along with people.

Week 18 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Lend a Helping Hand

Everyone who reaches their own pinnacle of success has received a
fair amount of help along the way. The truth is if you want to ensure your
own success start returning the favor right now.

Even if you are not at the level of success that you desire…yet…you
have no doubt received assistance. There is no greater
joy than helping another achieve success and the Law of Reciprocity
will ensure that you receive back that which you give. Usually in far
greater abundance. (more…)

Week 17 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Do What You Want to Do

What does that mean?  So many people spend their entire lives doing what they
think they should do at a job that they hate.  You have 1 opportunity (as far as I
know) to live this life to the fullest.

I think the only should in your life is, You SHOULD do what YOU want to
do.  Are you doing that?  Are you really doing that?

Do you absolutely love getting up in the morning to get into action at a job
that you love.  Even if you own your own business, it is ultimately your job…do
you love it?

If the answer is a resounding NO then what are you going to do about it?

Week 16 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Use Your Personal Initiative

Procrastination will steal your dreams right out from under your nose. You
can train your mind to think thoughts of success, you can choose a goal,
you can start to visualize the life of your dreams but without personal initiative
none of the things you desire will ever come to fruition.

What are you doing to achieve the life of your dreams? It simply will not
materialize as you lie on your couch. What are you doing with the time that
God has given you?

Week 15 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Choose Your Goal

You wouldn’t plan a long road trip without having a clear idea
of how you were going to get to your destination. However 8
out of 10 people do just that with their life.

We have one shot (as far as I know) to get what we want out of
life. To achieve, to give, to love and so many people take this
one shot and let it pass them right by.

Don’t be that person! If you are that person shake yourself awake
right now and claim that you will never again sleep walk through
this incredible gift of life.

Week 13 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Strengthen Your Sense of Humor

When was the last time you had a really good laugh? I don’t mean a little
chuckle here and there, I mean a hearty – life is good kind of laugh. If you have
to pause to think about it then today is definitely for you.

“Laughter is the best medicine”. Of course we have all heard this saying when
it comes to overcoming illness but could it be true to building wealth as
well?

I believe it is. A good sense of humor has the ability to ease the many
bumps that will no doubt come along the path to success. And a
great side benefit is that it makes you a much more likable person!

I sometimes forget this. Do you?

Week 12 – Achieving Life’s Rewards

Have Confidence in Yourself

There is a story of Thomas Edison about when he discovered the way
to record a human voice.  It is said he called in a model maker and had
the man sketch the machine for Edison’s idea.

The model maker exclaimed that this machine would never work.  Edison
asked him, “why not?”

The model maker said, “because no one has EVER made a machine that
could talk!”  Of course Edison could have accepted the opinion and given
up.  But we all know that is not what he did.

He sent the model maker off to make the machine and stated, “let me
be the loser if it doesn’t work.”
